I saw that a member did it on one of his cars and wanted to do it as well to prevent a shitty fender rolling job. Anyone has this done on there mustang? Is it bad? Opinions would help

I've done it on a fox.
Go slow, take breaks, and don't allow too much heat to be generated to the point where your paint burns off the fender. It's a bit awkard to have your head in the wheel-well and have metal shavings fall on you so wear eye/head protection.
I found it's best to use a grinder to shave the bulk of it off and use a dremel to smooth towards the end.
The metal does get pretty thin on that fender though once it's shaved so do it at your own risk.
Best of luck.

I was planning on using a small grinder and going steady and to prevent sharp edges I was going to use a thicker blade to smooth it out

the spot welds that hold the quarter panel to the body need to stay there for structural intergrity!! cutting the spot welds off when "shaving" the quarters/fenders i tthink will cause alot of issues down the line!! rust/weaknes in the chassis!! just my opinion from knowledge in auto body my whole life!!
