Whats up guys, I've had this car for about a year now. Its and 84 325e with a 5.0 t5 swap. Goals for the car is to get on the track and try different things; auto-x, drift, and hpde.
I had it running for a week or two then the motor took a dump. Coming back with boost this time. I'll try and keep this thread updated.
Pics and videos.
short video 5.0 e30
engine bay pic, will be getting painted this time around.
pistons 1&5
just bought hotside kit off corral
More progress.

interior together, floorboards sprayed with rubber coating.

turn signal stalk, shortened wiper arm deleted.

Cheap and effective gauges from summit. Approx $15 each. I made the delete panels from free plastic scraps. Covered them with the 3M? Carbon Fiber film.

Nope, the motor that was in it was no good. I've always wanted a fox just wanted something not too common so i swapped a 302 in e30. bmw engine swaps are way too much for my budget. [ May 11, 2012, 01:09 AM: Message edited by: omarquez510 ]

lol, thats the only way they clear the steering shaft. OR you could do two passenger side headers. It's easier to turbo the thing and be done.

Very nice build! I was going to stuff a 302ci in my 944 Porsche because I wanted to see a sbf in it instead of being like everyone else and doing the lsx swap. But I would have had too destroy and cut up the strut towers to customize a whole new front suspension and change the geometry. I lost motivation and sold the lemon for 100$. Was a great car when it ran, with the 50/50 weight distribution. Car did some amazing things.
Good luck on your finishing touches, looks amazing!
