I hit up norcal dude in san ramon in the vendor section, still waiting on a reply, but he seems to be the man to go to according to the feedback...

Dan just did a complete rebuild on my 89 lx. Couldn't be happier. He knows his stuff for sure. You might want to look into new axles also since you have such high mileage. My lx has 137k and they were toast.

thanks for the heads up ssf50 on that pinion flange bro!
and as far as the axles...is there a way to eyeball the axles or find out if they need to be replaced without pulling them out?
