This thing is bad.Built by CV Performance in Australia.632 cubic inch alcohol burning Roberts Design aluminum big block Ford.CNC ported off the shelf A-460 heads.Twin 106mm Garrett turbos pushing 52 psi.5-inch throttle body.500-lb/hr injectors!!!!!!
5.95 @ 260mph in the quarter!!!! ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

You guys are splitting hairs.Its a Mustang body,it has doors,its Ford powered,its obviously not a street car,but come on,its runnin 5's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Its almost alcohol funny car fast!You have to do a few things to a car to make it run in the 5's haters. ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)

Maybe if it was LSX powered more people here would have positive things to say.
I dont know if you know,but you cant take a full on street car and stick a huge motor in it and go 5's at 260.You have to do just a few little things to handle 3000+ hp.

It is just as much a Mustang as all the other "Pro 5.0" class Mustangs I've seen. While it is certainly nothing like any Mustang you can buy from Ford, 260 mph is amazing. The Aussies take their Fords seriously- not too bad for a country that started off as a place to put convicts from Britian, and that only has 20 million people total. I am a bit biased though, since I was born there and spend a lot of my childhood in Sydney.

Take it for what it is- a tube framed drag car with a fiberglass body shaped similar to that of a Mustang. Is it a Mustang? Technically no. Does it trap at 260mph? Yes. Regardless, I don't think that was the purpose of the OP's post... I think he just wanted to share a bit of Ford related information with the community here.
Regardless, the Aussies seem to be beating us at our own game!
