have to go down to the boardwalk near sea world, similar to beach board walk in santa cruze, just a lot more food, bars and talent to enjoy

If you want some good grilled lobster,shrimp and carne asada, go to Rockin Baja Lobster... the lobster tails are so good... Then you can walk around the street and get some homemade flour tortillas at one of the Mexican restaurants...good stuff and this is all in Old Town San Diego...

Check out Dicks Last Resort, its a trip. Lots of lil clubs in that area too. There is a excellent steak house down there too. Rah is a great Thai Restaurant. And check out Little Italy if you into Italian Food. I love San Diego. I am working on trying to buy a flat over looking Padre Park.

ooops Rah is the Japanese spot. And the Steak House is called Mary Sues or something. Oh yea The Strip Bar is a good place to eat too. There is also a nice open air mall in the area.

last night i they took me through a tour through those spots . I went to old town . downtown .. north ( i forgot the rest of the name ) I still dislike there teams but there city is off the hook ! the downtown is packed at night . we ate in old town and than went to the casino .

What I typically like to do in SD:
Gaslamp - downtown district. Great restaurants and bars. I typically head to a roof-top bar called IVY
Pacific Beach - check out Garnet Ave. It's a long strip near the beach with lots of younger folks and high energy at night. I'm sort of over this scene, but spent a lot of time here in my early to mid 20s
La Jolla - Upscale, great scenery... but don't come here with cafords style baggy pants and XXXL white T-shirt or you will be judged heavily ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)
I was never into the sea world/SD zoo type attractions. Save that one for the squares or the folks with children.

IF IT MATTERS, we were at Knotts :-)
My 18 month old daughter loved everything we took her on! Figured it better to get them used to the stuff before they are old enough to be scared by the sight!
