I just drove to Reno with pandora over the entire mountain and didn't lose a single second of music also I pay $72 bucks for unlimited and 1500 land line minutes. My bitch pays the othet $72. Upgrade after a year only to my iPhone. Sprint so far has done me right.

Thought San Jose was already 4g status for sprint. if your buddy has an EVO he should try flipping the switch on.

He might not have good service there, all phones will be slow when there's no service! thanks too Steve jobs he design to put the dual core a5 chip in the iPhone 4s, the phone is twice is fast as the iPhone 4 when playing with the phone in home menu, put playing fast pase games and on the net it's 7 times faster!

His 4G is usually on but the problem is its kind of spotty and youd figure it would be a good service area for 4G since we are within 2 miles of down town San Jose

No issues so far I've had this iPhone for since it came out and so far so good I use Netflix and YouTube. No hbo though. I've had other carriers years ago and I'm happy now.

my work recently switched from at&t to verizon, my old at&t phone was a iphone 3gs. The new phone is an iphone 4s.
the data speeds on my verizon iphone 4s are half as fast as my old at&t 3gs.
it's bullshit, but as I'm the only IT guy for the office, and I'm the only one that ever went over 2gigs of data with our old plan (unlimited), they decided to switch to save money. I sent the owners and office admin a long bitch email about it and they blew me off ![[Frown]](frown.gif)
my buddy has a 4s on at&t and can get 4.2mbps down in hollywood, and 3.5mbps down in camarillo. I'm lucky to get over 0.66mbps down in camarillo
the networks aren't the same everywhere...I'm sure verizon is great in other places, but not for me!

I get 5-6 down on my at&t iphone 4s in the wee hours of the night. Maybe 3-4 down during the day. It does drop calls like crazy though. My friend's Sprint Iphone 4S never drops any calls but the 3G network is slow as molasses.
