How much are there paying for copper now a days? One of my work had some remodle going and I was able to get some copper pipes. I'm guessing around 40-50 pounds. Here is a pic

hit up Arrons metals in Oakland. copper had went down a few weeks back and for clean copper I got $2.70Lb

you are looking at about 2.20-2.50 a pound. Copper is done from about 4.18 a pound to now around 3.40.

I used to sell copper since I rebuilt alternators and I had a sit load left over but the prices went down so it wasn't worth it anymore.

Dan you should keep an eye out there are street lights that arent working in vallejo and they have signs that say :"Lights dont work due to copper theft" ridiculous!
