Yes in High school it was about a buck a gallon. You could still drive around all week for around 5 bucks and cruising the blvd wouldnt break your bank and the cops were less of pricks to the cruising game. We didnt have free porno on the internet back then though, still had to pay like 10 bucks for a porno mag or 20 for a VHS.

Do any of you remember when it was .40 to cross the bridge? Some of my coworkers where talkin about the old days and brought that up. Cheapest I ever paid for bridge toll was a buck.

I remember when I was a kid gas use to be .89 cents a gallon...This was in 1989...Gas prices nowadays is

I remember when I was a kid gas was less than a dollar a gallon and my dad would put in 5 bucks in his country squire wagon and it would last a few days.

He only drove to work and back and maybe a trip to the grocery store in between. My point was back then 5 bucks took you a long way even in a v8 powered tank lol
