Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Probably sucky drivers with no drag experience.

The general consensus is sand bagging. Notice the Ferrari 458 pulling then letting off towards the end. It has paddle shifters also, like the gtr. Would have been awesome to see a full mile run

Yeah,im sure motor trend uses shitty, inexperienced drivers to test high end cars.LOL. Funny that even the "slowest" car was faster than 95% of the cars on here. [ September 29, 2011, 06:32 PM: Message edited by: 50DADDY ]

I love the Lexus LFA, especially how it snaked the win in the last few feet over the Vette.
And I agree they had shitty launches. ESPECIALLY the GT-R that car shoulda been waaaaay further ahead off the line.
Oh and furthermore I love the LFA exhaust *drools*

Is the GT-R the only all-wheel drive in the race?

I think the Audi R8 and 1 of the Porsches are.

Yeah that’s true. When I said that, I was wondering if some of those drivers were just the owners of the cars, as opposed to professional drivers that Motor Trend rounded up. Now that I think about it, it doesn’t make sense; so I retract what I said before .
