if you put in an after market deck just find the hot wire, accessory wire, and ground wire from the main harness from the car and hook it up to your deck. than run all your speaker wires directly from your speakers to deck. or from speakers to amp to deck that is if you decide to run an amp to your component speakers.

I was actually curious if that were possible. As I don't think my GT has any stereo wiring. Haha.

Yea ive done it all before its possible ive started with nothing in my 68, fixed hacked up jobs on a few of my 50's and done tv's and monster beat in a few buicks i had. Depends on how your wires are looking bring it by and ill give u an estimate its not my main hustle its my hobby so i aint gon charge u nowhere near beatshop prices. I also used to work for best buy audio so i aint gona ghetto rig the shit out of your car if u got the supplies i got the skills.

Uhhh I'm a certified MECP Advanced.. I can do it lol. Fuck running new speaker wire. A waste of money. 12g speaker wires NOT gonna make your Sony Xplodes sound any better. lmk. I actually do mobile audio video for a living, I'm not just some kid who's done his boys Honda civic 1 time and think I'm hella sick at stereos.

Just FYI, if you gonna get charged more than 85 bucks to have your deck installed you getting raped. ESPECIALLY if its some dude you dont know.

Just to give you an idea. If you go to Best Buy, your gonna get charged 50 for a deck install, and 35 to hard wire it if your harness is cut from the connectors.

Ooops, ment to press edit, not quote. Oh well!

85 is nowhere in the range where im looking to charge that man and you are right its not necessary to run larger wire for just an aftermarket deck.If the wires are salvageable by all means they can be used. Im not an amateur but at this point in ife its a hobby, im just looking to help a member out.

You probably didnt run the turn on for the factory amp. Make sure ALL your blue wires coming off the harness you bought connect to the blue and white off the aftermarket deck.

It might be the remote wire for your factory amp but it also might be that your factory amp that is burnt out. I've had to run all new wiring from an aftermarket deck to the speakers themselves.
