Is this a hilltim question bruh? lol jk, you have quite a few options out there, would be nice to get some heads first, but what ever comes first its all good its still an upgrade, good luck with that ticket guey hope you get it resolved soon so you can start making that 4EYE scream...

Lol sorry I'm not THAT mechanically inclined so I don't know which way is best to build a motor.
So I guess the real question would be, which heads should I go for N which cam?

Well for this motor I would like a good respectable runner

I'd got with some Roush 200cc heads to keep the cost down and a Anderson motorsports cam with a 125 shot of the laughing gas !!!

The B cam is mean that shit just wants to go but no check engine light! O yeah!
The E cam is pretty good its a popular 1.lots of people go with that cam
I got the B cam and works great it just wants to keep going but E cam is when u don't have much done to your car like heads
Not an expert but just from me asking mechanics with lots of experience.I ask lots of questions

FRPP B-Cam or E-Cam both are good choices in my opinion. I run B cams but I've built a couple of solid power makers with e cams!

not sure but i thought 86 had the flat top pistons like the 85 motors with no valve reliefs so your pretty much F'd on going bigger cam or even putting 1.7rr on it. just buy another motor and build it. meanwhile convert it to mass airflow.also another side not i thought 86 motors had some of the shitty heart shaped cc heads.

f cam would be a fun quick mod. then look around for some gt40 heads, and a cobra, trickflow, or holley upper/lower plenum. you'll have a strong ass runner. especially if you get it tuned afterwards

B303 + GT40Ps=WIN
I haz stock gears right now meow and its still torqey.
But teh bcam has a mind of its own sometimes.. I just stuck with it because it sounded cool. And really, the only reason people get a cam is for teh sound.

I just did the GT40P(+matching tfs spring set) and TFS stage one upgrade this summer, still need a proper intake though.
so far its been a lot of fun, sounds sick especially through tunnels, and cruising in low gear, and of course freeway on ramps. rear tires worn out. +1 for TFS STAGE 1 CAM
