I launch at 3-4K hard, and havent had any issues, yet. Might just get a new spec 3+ if this one is bad. My clutch was smoking just sitting at a light and was stalling the motor even with tranny in neutral. It's my daily driver and don't have any complaints. It can hold 1000hp, and the pedal effort is soft and easy to engage. It's very smooth and has no chatter.
