Figured I would share my story lol getting off work tonight and this girl works where i do here bf picks her up he has a 02 camaro I guess it has a ls2 in it and some bolt ons an crap well I on the other hand have a 96 gt non pi with bolt ons and 4.10 gears and its a auto but no stall but I been wanting to mess with him and I figure tonight is my chance so i follow him then the lights turn red so I pull up next to him I didnt figure he would race cuz she was in the car but then he revs up and takes off and I take off normal then try to catch up lol but then we do a role and go I put it in 2 and he did the same and he pulled away about 3 cars but that's about it I figure with a ls2 close to 400hp I figure it should of whoop my ass guess worse then it did but I lost damnit gotta get my shit faster I guess I gotta pull my lil slow coupe out next time lol

did he do a ls2 swap? cuz those come with ls1 n by sayin he beat you by 3 cars sounds like a stock ls1 beat you, but p.i.swap, non pi bottom end n a cam n stall you'll be beating some ass ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)

Two friends both have 200k mile cars, one has 5.3 heads on it with stock ls6 cam. The other has a ms4 and a 3500 stall.

How do you even know it's an LS2? Even an LS2 with bolt ons is going to be in the 450 crank hp area.
Well get pi swap and a little nitrous and you can give his ass the business.

and i think everyone means, CAMS! When i had my 98 GT and did the pi swap with some regrind cams along with a stall, i think the best time i got was 13.8 @ 101mph with a shitty 60'. Before doing the swap i ran 13.0 @ 110 with 150shot and a OK 60'.

power in my sig. went 12.7 at 108 if i remember right. patriot stage 2's,custom hi tech cams, 11.1 comp, longtubes and off road x pipe, 373's on et drags. you are gonna need alot of $$$ to put into that motor to hang with a ls powered motor. i beat them dowm left n right with this setup. even on drag radials on the street. now my car is getting a complete makeover and im going big boost vortech air to air intercooler going for 600+rwhp on pump gas and upwards of 700 on race gas in the next 6 months or so.

For the record I dont own a Z28 anymore. Don't even have a fast car.
My hot rod goes 9's an is powered by Kawasaki only has 2 wheels.
On another note don't think your gonna pull up to anything that's LSX powered an just walk over it!!
