I used to go to Camp Far West a lot just off 65 north of Lincoln or Icehouse off 50 towards Tahoe.

Does camp far west have hills that you can go hiking with and stuff like that I seen pics on google but their isn't that many

I haven't been out there in a while but they had campgrounds, lake for fishing, trails, not high hills but some hills and even had a place you could go shooting way back in the day I actually think it's a real cool spot being so close to Sac.

I'm going camping this weekend up at Icehouse, its supposed to be beautiful up there so I'm excited to get away from the heat for a couple days!

i was just at white cloud campground campground up in nevada city. it was cool there. not packed, but its not on water. its a small drive to the yuba or scotts flat lake
