can you handle installing it yourself?
I just put a viper 2-way paging alarm (responder 350) into my `97. I got it, a back up battery, and a tilt/towing sensor all for under $175 off amazon.com
no way would I let the jokers that work at best buy touch the wiring of any of my cars. [ April 27, 2011, 02:56 AM: Message edited by: Blind ]

Lol, I work for quite a bit more than peanut bud. I do installs for bestbuy, and yeah its easy man, just find the wire colors, solder, and tape. Your lucky you dont require a bypass mod though.

I also needed 2 relays for the door locks, 1 relay for the trunk pop, and if you want it to light the dome light up for you when you unlock, that would need another relay.

lol, yeah that's pretty bad. I used heatshrink and then wrapped everything in black split loom tubing so it's hard to tell it from the factory wiring (what little of it that you can see, since I hid everything all over the car).

im not sure if you want to drive into san jose but there is a shop called guru electronics, im almost 98% sure that its cheaper then that by almost 20o bucks. he does alarms really well and i think he sells 2way pagers for like 160 and another 60-80 for installtion. ask and see if he does hood pins, door disablers etc etc
