"They had some mild porting work done to them and were 145 cc, I put another 60+ hours into porting them more. I ended up with 156 cc intake and 56 cc exhaust. I was amazed, especially the lower lift #'s!"
It's nice to see what people can do with gt40s.

For the amount of time and money, more time then money if you have the skill....spent on this...and 355 at the wheels......................................................................................................................................................................

Wouldn't a simple turbo or blower setup on a stock engine make more power and probably cost less?

I agree. With the amount of time he put into it, and the amount of material he took out, they're really not GT40s any more. Yes, they started off as GT40s, but with bigger valves and huge ports, it's just another iron head that's been race ported.
