u dont see fighters like this anymore because of the ufc. people and fighters are starting to be into mma alot more because of the publicity that ufc brought to the mma leagues. kind of sucks really cuz boxing is a great sport and the majority of people that stopped watching it to watch ufc probably have no idea about dream, k1, pride, strikeforce, wec, king of the cage, and all the other old leagues. they r zuffa groupies lol. hopefully boxing comes back strong.

I think you don't see fights like this no more cause of the bullshit politics and corruption behind the scenes... promoters are scared to put up their cash cows against fair opponents in fear of loosing cash

until boxing fixes its match ups, its not going to ever be what it once was.
The UFC is successful due to the rawness of fighters going into matches that they can lose, thats why its exciting and thats why its so popular.
If boxing can fix the system so boxers like mayweather cant find some dumb ass excuse to get out of a good fight, then it will be right there with MMA. but until then, ill stick to friday night boxing on HBO. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
