so i got called out for a race this fri..its a 2002 ls1 auto with a lid and flowmasters"no longtubes"...im somehwere around 270-290rwhp..car weighs about 3100..i got the driving part down but will my car be enough?..this will be from a dig and a 2nd gear roll..thanks
"so from the dig i got toasted..tires wouldnt catch..we did 2 rolls(his choice) on his honk..i was in second gear around 4k at the start third honk we both took off dead even i hit third started pulling off hes at my door i hit 4th and kept pulling till my 4th hit 6k and i cut the race..second race was the same i cut for traffic around 110mph but was in the lead when i slowed down..i have to admit i got ran from the dig tho..lol you guys are going to hate me for this but no videos.. ![[Frown]](frown.gif) but yup toasted my timing cover gasket..lol it was already leaking but i finshed it off tonite..he said there is a problem with auto trans in camaro where the 3rd to 4th gear shift lags?..but hey i toasted him ![[Whoo Whooooo!]](graemlins/woowoo.gif) ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif) ![[dance]](graemlins/dance.gif) "

U shud get this guy man my buddy has a stock 302 only motor mod is gt40 upper lower intakes with gears and full exhuast nd som drags nd he gets on ls1s with exhuast and lids. So i got u for the win. Where it gana be at i wana watch this pm me

driving skills good launch and no missed gears
ls1 has top end
but most ls1 owners get to pedal happy and stay in first burning rubber

since im racing a ls1 it seems i got alot of positive responses..haha..thanks everyone ill try and get it on vid..i dont have passengers when i race so ima see if someone can tape at the finish..i top out somewhere past 120mph in 4th on these 18's if i beat him to 110 then ill be happy..lol but yea thanks everyone..this is goin down friday..undisclosed location..

Man you telling me an HCI 281 2v or 302 on stock bottom end with bolt ons and drags barely competes to a stock LS1. Oh how I love my mustang. Lol. J/P but not really.
