So how many of your pissed about the rediculous new regulation that all gas pumps need to have the locking latch removed.
Noore being able to gas up and clean your windows at the same time.
I don't know about you guys but I'm gonna find something that will lock it in place for me.
Just another useless CA law.

Yep lets worry about the gas pumps and not the CA economy or CA education, politicians are idiots. This state is never going to recover.

I was wondering why the fuck the locks were gone from the gas stations. What is the purpose of this

So the pumps won't spill or something stupid.

I fill up all the time and some still have them, some don't. But the ones that don't you really miss the locks. I was thinking the same thing and now there making filling up even more painful than the prices we pay.

Ya thatd be me. My work vehicle is 25-30 gallons every day!
Side note, its only the handles the latch within the grip. The ones that hold at the rear of the gas grip are still being used. I heard its like 1/3 of all CA pumps had this issue. Also with me personally, only ever using the pumps with latch within the grip have i ever had the grip/pump jump out of my fuel spout and acutally get gas everywhere.
It is a PITA for real though. Imagine 30 gallons with a slow ass pump.

I feel you! I hate the stations that removed the locks, especially when its hella cold or raining and you're filling up an empty 18 gal tank
But if you use your "own type of lock" make sure you watch the pump to see how much gas is going in. My co-worker used his own locking device once and the pump never stopped pumping...gas was EVERYWHERE and the price was hella high

Start in Manteca, Drive to Fremont and from there anywhere between Santa Rosa to south of Monterey or Salinas and all in between. Then back to Manteca lol.
