Iam new to this site and want to get a stang, always wanted a 03-04 cobra but dont want to spend that much $ on car and gas and I will commute lightly approx 60miles round trip. So I thought this GT will suffice. ps I dont race lol.
2005 Ford Mustang GT. Black leather interior. 23K Miles. 5spd manual. V8. SCT CHIP. Steeda pulleys. JLT cold air intake. Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers with 4" pipes. Sportline Eibach springs. American Racing Special Edition Shelby 20" rims. 8" front, 10" rear Nitto NT555 tires. Roush spoiler. Pony Tri-bar emblems. Shaker 1000 audio system. Also includes all stock parts. Coworkers friend wants 14k (Lowest willing Price) for it.. Worth it?? KBB says
Excellent $17,540 Good $16,690 Fair $15,290
**** Im More worried about how beat the engine can be since it has these mods and 3 prior owners. I may depending on your guys advice buy it Tomorrow or Wednesday so any advice would be great.

Get a compression check done on it, and a leak down test, radiator pressure test. It would only be around 150-250, it's a small price to pay.

Personally I like it, it's fucking clean three owners or not they all took care of it it seems. And 23k it hasn't even had a chance to be beat on!

True.. I would take it to a shop. Just to have a piece of mind. But for 14K its not a bad deal

I'd offer 13k at the most. He'll take it in the current market with the 11's + being so much superior. Trust me, at 14k it'll take a while on CL etc with the lowballers. Offer him 13, tell him you'll take care of the smog and take it as is tomorrow. Let him know he won't have to deal with the bs any more, you've found a lot of nice cars online etc etc etc.

From a former black car owner, this is 100% true. Just a nightmare.

I have three black cars. They will show every scratch/chip. To keep the scratches down, always wash by hand and dont dry them with a towel. Use one of those CA squeegee blades and keep up on the waxing. They are easy to do touch ups if you get a rock chip.

Whether you have a garage to park in also makes a huge difference
