Topic: help me smog my stang!!!!!

i have taken my mustang into the smog shop 4 times to have it fail everytime. the nox is slightly high, and i cant figure out what is wrong. im not getting codes when i hook the reader up!!! anyone down to help me get this bitch to pass so i can fucking drive it. its been sitting in the garage since june. i have cash in hand. let me know

Yeah, you were asking for a legal "smog", huh...... I understand your frustration in trying to pass smog but coming on here with next to no posts and asking for someone to hook you up isn't going to work. And I have 5178 posts!

Go to the tech section and post your results. A lot of members have been able to fix their problems with the help of the tech section.

I failed with high Nox a few weeks ago... try running your tank close to empty, refill with a bottle of Amsoil Fuel System Cleaner, and a full tank of 91 octane, and burn that tank up... really open it up on the freeway a few times... after that tank, refill with 91octane, get thru a quarter tank, and take it in to smog after driving for a while... half hour or more. Make sure the cats are real nice and warm. Open it up a few times on the way to the smog shop.
Worked for me!
