At least your alive, if you had been going any faster you probably wouldnt be. I never give any of these MF cagers the benefit of the doubt when it comes to people trying to turn into your lane. They're always on their phone, bluetooth, or just too into themselves to give a shit about anybody else on the road. Any broken bones? Or just bruises and some glass in the arm. Looks like you should be calling a lawyer here soon to get some cha ching going.

Glad you made it out. Load up on some ibuprofen for the pain. I would not suggest aspirin because it actually slows the blood and won't help with the bruising either. You can try a cold compress with heat therapy to help the blood flow.
Read up on Physical Therapists and Chiropractors for treatment and to assess the bodily damages for your case.

Its definitely a good thing that you weren't going any faster. And to be honest, if you were going to hit a car in any place, you probably picked the best part cuz at least you were able to fly over the hood. Its comin up on 2 years this month since my friend passed away on his motorcycle. Speed limit was 40 so I assume he was doing about that speed. Asian lady was making a left from an upcoming street where she would have to pull out in front of him to go in the opposite direction that he was going. But instead of looking both ways, she only looked to the right.. and as a result, he died on impact between the door and fender..
Glad to hear you're ok! Just goes to show that you can never assume anything.

Daaaaamn, Thank God it wasn't a RIP to you. Yeah bro, I have an 05 R6 and let me tell you that I commute in that thing and you have to watch out for everyone but for some reason commercial and other type of trucks seem to have more encounters with motorcycles these days.
Always ride for your safety and let everyone pass or stay back until the road is clear. Shoot, I don't mind going the triple digits to lose some idiot tailgating me or trying to ram me.

Lawyer up. And see and continue to see a orthopedic specialist. This accident may have a life long lasting effect on your body. I am glad you are ok. I lost a quite a bit of friends to motorcycle accidents. Part of the reason I refuse to ride anymore.

Damn man, that sucks. That could have ended way worse. Glad you're relatively OK.
Definitely take it easy and call a lawyer. His insurance is going to try and hose you. You definitely want someone looking out for you.
As I get older I now realize why all the older guys told me they don't ride on the street any more, only on the track. I always think, "Am I going to make it home today?" when I get on the bike. F'ing idiots just don't pay attention.
