ok. i have a 03 gt. with a upr x pipe no catts. and i have glasspacks on right now.(dont talk shit they sound sick as fuk but just way way too loud) i wanna avoid a modded exhaust ticket, but still want something loudish but quiet if i drive like a granny. lol
ok i bought the car with a bbk catted xpipe with flowmasters 40's on dumps. didnt like it for shit
then i got the glasspacks with the pipes out back still had the catted x pipe. i liked it but i wanted it louder so i put cut outs on it. then i put the x pipe wit no catts and was way too loud. so i took the cut outs off.
then came up on some magnaflows and they sounded koo , but it was too quiet. so took those off n put the glasspacks back on, n now i wanna change them out again.
i like how the pypes violators sound.
ohhh and remember its a 4.6 not a 5.0 they sound way different so if you have a suggestion can u include a vid thx cafords.

the corosa exhaust it way too expensive but sounds bad ass !! and the slp's sound sick as well but those are loud my cousin has them and damn i think its louder than my set up. im jocking the dynomax mufflers and thats on a h pipe i can imagin wat they sound like on a x pipe ??

I think you can narrow down the muffler choice. Sounds like you'd want a straight thru muffler. As far as volume there are few choices between a resonator type/glasspack and a mid size magnaflow. The corsa dbs, lm2, magnapacks, stingers are prob just as loud as those glasspacks.
Possibly try the longer magnaflow resonator type muffler, the larger borla xr1, or the comparable dynomax bullets. It'll give you the sound you want and the middle of the road volume you're looking for.

yup. i want somthing that sounds nice not skanky. i like the mac paths and the dynomax ones.

I have Aeros on my Cobra, and they sound bad ass! I'd also consider Magnapacks or Spintech exhaust.

Right now they are complete bolt on since I have their entire catback system.. once I finally get around to getting some new mufflers if you just pay for my install than you can have them...
I just have to get the new ones first

MAC Flowpaths are awesome and so are Dynomax Super turbos. I loved the sound of the Flowpaths on my '03 GT.

Im running an slp x pipe, with magnaflow spun cats, and the corsa db blacks and I love it. Had all sorts of combinations, and got an excessive noise ticket without the cats until I put together this magic combo. Good luck.
