Yup every event he's crashed within the first couple of stages with the damage being terminal forcing them to drop out from the event.

WRC and Gymkhana are two different animals. Just because there are people bigger and better doesn't mean he's not a good driver. Even if he places last in the World Level of Competition how could you call someone bad at that? How well would you do in WRC? He'd run circles around local legend jae-jae.
He's the first American to ever enter the WRC as part of a multi-year program. He placed third in a number of rally competitions from 2005-2009 and earned rookie of the year in 2005 Rally America Championship.
I'm just tired of people talking shit about someone competing in the highest levels of competition, trying, admitting that they're learning, but at least they're out there or the sport would be dead.

Oh sorry BRO, I did not realize I had to post in this thread previously to say anything. Anywhooo, WTF was I talking about? Nothing much really, just liked what he posted, and how he said it. He, as well as I, both seem to agree that even though he was not numero uno at WRC, doesn't mean hes not good at what he does, WRC not his cup of tea I guess. So you just calm down there fella, k?

I'm just saying... you guys wanna gobble his knob go ahead. But he only seems to be good at choreographed routines. By the way has anyone seen a Gymkhana event? When trying to find any sanctioned Gymkhana events Ken Block has competed in and you come up empty. If Ken is such a badass and Gymkhana is apple to oranges when compared to WRC then provide some tech on Gymkhana events that Ken has run in and won?

Check your facts.... John Buffum was the first American to run in the WRC. He drove a Groupe B Quattro

Is it a fun and impressive video? Yes. Does it take multiple takes to get some of the shots/sequences? Yes. But why can't you be happy that there are people out there pushing the extreme sports? Videos like this going out to the masses brings in more fans. More fans equals more revenue. More revenue equals more sponsorships. It's what television did for the NFL. We're not "gobbling his knob", we're just saying its an awesome high def video with cars? And yes, he's not the BEST driver out there but he's leaps and bounds over your everyday foxbody driver. Say all you want that you/your buddy in the Shelby Club is a better driver but their videos aren't being shared by tens of millions millions of people. Progress the sport man, don't supress it. This is the general talk section anyway, not the road racing section. Just sharing fun videos! Take it easy buddy. [ September 15, 2010, 02:23 PM: Message edited by: 2000BlackGT ]

Sorry, for some reason I thought that the official WRC page was accurate: http://www.wrc.com/drivers-and-teams/drivers/ken-block/?whoid=1
