I saw the episode the other night. I think the Ford GT driver implied that it had a lot more boost than was advertised.

They said the GT was pullied and tuned I believe. That Gallardo did'nt have a chance & it got real ugly everytime Tanner laid into the loud pedal! GT also had an X pipe.
