Just heard on the radio that the Niners just picked up Brian Westbrook to replace Coffee. Seems like a nice pick up and should compliment Gore

Kinda of weird, he retired. He has devoted his life to the Lord, or something like that. What a waste of talent. But if your heart is not in the game, you got to go!!

Was still kinda bitter at Westbrook for sliding and not scoring the TD a few years back. He fukked my fantasy stats. BUT, he has been forgiven....
NINERS FTW

I've always liked Westbrook. Versatile RB and is a threat to catch passes out of the backfield. However I give it 3-4 games before he goes out with another concussion.
I'm just a lowly football fan, but in my opinion he should hang 'em up and start thinking about his health and his future with his family. If I'm not mistaken, his last 2 seasons have been ended with head injuries.

^ Yeah I'd hate to see him get f'd up..... But if he can stay healthly, he will be a great RB for one season...... Then the Raiders can sign him to a 5 year 25million deal.

I think it will be good to have a Vet on offence since we really don't have any. Coffee should have spoke up earlier. Dixon looks promising tho, did you see the stiff arm on the left side for the TD? You got to be a strong mofo to lift somebody off their feet like that with 1 hand. [ August 16, 2010, 10:46 PM: Message edited by: SnakeBit ]

One and done! I like Westbrook but he should really retire. The 9ers should trade for Marion Barber... Dem Boys have too much talent and we don't need him anymore

I WOULDVE LIKED THE NINERS TO PICK UP MARSHAWN LYNCH BUT ILL SETTLE FOR WESTBROOK.DIXON IS A BEAST I LIKE HIS STYLE OF RUNNING, HE REMINDS ME OF JEROME BETTIS.
I HOPE THE NINERS GIVE NATE DAVIS OR JARRED BROWN(ROOKIE) A SHOT AT STARTING QB IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS I LIKE HOW THEY ARE ACCURATE AND IM JUST TIRED OF SMITH AND I DONT LIKE CARR

^ thought Carr and Davis both looked good so far...... I want to see both get a half to see what they can do.
Alex Smith, If he can't get it done...... I'd say start Carr and have Davis as #2.
