What you know about UNLV N8? I used to slap his old shit back in the day. Here is one of my favorites, the beat is hard. Juvenile later used this beat on his " Set it Off" track.

Yella Boy was my cousin. Lots of speculation about this song is why he got killed.
But yea, not many know about New Orleans rap outside of P and Hot Boys. Soulja Slim is tight too. Well when he was alive (RIP)
Slowback - Nah he and his brothers had some underground mix tape. Before the ice cream man. [ August 02, 2010, 11:06 AM: Message edited by: N8 ]

^ oh right on..... That's an old mix tape then. That Askari X tape wouldnt happen to be the " ward of the state" album.... I bought a copy of it a year ago and it was missing "hide tonight" song.... Needless to say I was upset. That song is off the hook. [ August 02, 2010, 10:12 AM: Message edited by: Slowback67 ]

Yea I have the original with "Hide Tonight" on it. I figured not many here would like that song, its pretty controversial. .

My friend and I put that song on at work.... ( on our loading dock ) there was a truck driver getting unloaded and he thought we had the radio on. When he caught some of the song he was trippin' for a sec till we told him we were just messin with him.

Man one time I went in the record shop and the whole rap section was damn near P and No Limit. His cd, Mia-X, Fiend, Kane and Abel, Mystikal, C-Murder, Silk the Shocker, Serv-On, Steady Mobbin, lil Soldiers....lmao. Say what you want P had it on lock just by flooding the market. His artists got grip per cd sell too. Mystikal was by far the best rapper out of the camp tho. I liked Silks flow too, but he can suck a fat one. I went to school with him. Fool watched me get jumped once and didnt help...lol. [ August 02, 2010, 01:57 PM: Message edited by: N8 ]
