He was injured during a Team USA workout. From what I read it's just a dislocated finger. Worst case it's a broken finger and he's out a month.

Yea I didnt understand letting a very capable point guard go when you have a team full of SF and PF. That was a come up for Chicago.
Oh well, I have low expectations for the Warriors anyway.

It's easy to see why. CJ never lead the team off the bench. It's more a fit issue than a skill issue. It would take a long term deal to keep him. Why lock someone in long term that didn't fit or run the system well?
Everyone in the summer league is talking about Jeremy Lin. He is a local, lots of upside and cheaper than Watson. It's a good gamble imo.
The real question basketball heads are asking is why didn't Cohen and company trade him last year to Orlando for some picks and or players?
