my insurance renewal through grundy worldwide just came in for my 97. here are the specifics 97 insured at 20k driving record: 0 points, good drive, etc coverage bodily injury: 300k/500k medical payments: 10k uninsured motorist: 50k underinsured motorist: 50k 0 deductible unlimited miles
total yearly premium: 314.80
limitations: car needs to be garaged, car cant be driven to work or used for errands, must show proof of a 2nd car used for primary use. once youve been w/ them for a year they are more lenient on providing proof of the primary driver and basically as u do is renew the insurance.
given how limited i drive my car and what i use it for, collector car insurance fits my needs. just wanted to share for those that do not rely on your stangs for primary transport as this can save u a lot of bucks long term.

u can get away with it as they arent policing u when ur on the street but if anything happens while you're using the car outside of its coverage u might encounter some problems w/ the insurance. that said, ive driven my car to work and didnt sweat it...my excuse would be that i drove it on a pleasure ride and stopped by work. LOL i dont drive my car much so those limitations dont bother me
