Nice guns
FYI, it's not illegal to own hi-cap mags in California if you owned them prior to the ban in 2000. It's only illegal to import and sell them.

The only way it's enforceable is if you get caught sneaking them across the border, a cop sees you assembling one from parts, or you have a mag for a gun that wasn't made prior to 2000 like the FN Five-Seven.

Nice AR. I'm currently in the process of completing mine, and had a few questions, if you don't mind.
1. What is the twist ration in your barrel, and what grain bullet are you shooting? Mine is 1:9, and I've 500 rounds of 55gr., and was told I should use higher, but 55 shouldn't be a problem.
2. Did your butt-stock come with the recoil/spring or did you have to purchase that seperately?
3. Is that a Red-dot? How do you like that vs. magnification?
I still need to purchase a trigger kit and stock, but then I'm ready to rock and roll.
Cheers
