I went to go to work this morning and my Scion is on blocks with all 4 wheels gone. I'm fuming right now. Maybe the jackass will try to sell them on craigslist. Anyone work at a tire shop?

damn man, sorry to hear that. Post pics so we can keep a look out for them.
On a side note, it seems that most thefts are in the winter/raining season. I thnk its because thieves know that people have their windows closed at home and the rain/wind drowns out the sound of broken glass, wrenches, lug nuts, etc.
Just keep your eyes open everyone...keep your shit and do what it takes to prevent fuckers from taking it

Sorry to hear about this. Wheel locks won't prevent all thefts, but they will deter many would-be thieves from going after your car.
It's awful that we have to do it, but making the lives of thieves a little harder will go a long way.
Alarm Kill Switch Wheel locks Autolock/The Club Lojack Detachable Face Stereo Etc...
I know guys that are so careful about their Mustang's that they take out the rotor when leaving the car parked overnight.
You should post a pic of the wheels and allow people to keep an eye out on CL.
The most common places for a thief to self is CL, ebay, or automotive forums. Chances are that they will turn up on one of these selling services.

I'm going to go to Fry's and get a couple cameras in my front yard. Also thinking about putting an alarm on it now.

Two ways to go about this...
a.) Put them in clear view: This may deter a would-be thief, but you run the risk of them just covering them up or breaking them.
b.) Hide them: The thieves won't know they are there, so they obviously won't be detered to commit the crime, but you do have a better chance of catching them on tape.

I had the tire shops put it in their quotes.

a loss is a loss! ill keep a lookout for em bro. honestly i was about to move into the cityview apts up in the hayward hills (signed paperwork and everything) until i talked to the security guard who slipped, he said that there had been 6 cases of wheel theft within the last few months. i was like NM! btw your rims arent that bad, probably just coz yer cars still kinda high.. you should look into getting something like these.. http://www.scionlife.com/gallery/personal/12_10.jpg as far as the price difference, all you need to do is talk to the right wheel shop. just promise them youll get it from them, as long as they give you a "righteous" quote from the ones you lost! again sorry for your loss man, g luck on everything.
