Sick movie. Seen it in 3D last night. Long ass movie, but I feel if it was any shorter, it would not have been as good. Go see it... now.

best movie I have seen in quite sometime!!! The 3d was on point and the whole thing was rather believable. And the topic was a rather current one. And call me weird but I found the main lady alien rather attractive...lmao. Dont lie you fockers you know you did too.

Saw it in 3d and in regular format. 3D is the only way to go. Really good plot, story and charachter development.
The main blue chick was played by the same one who was in star trek. Ohura or sumthn. Spocks girlfriend. Id hit it with the lights off

I typically do not like Sci-Fi, but this was a great movie and I highly recommend it, but ONLY in 3D.
Did anyone else catch how strongly the movie is presented from a political left point of view...
Anti-military & even pro-socialist at times lol.
I also caught a radio station talking about the political message this movie is presenting driving into work today.
Personally, I ignored any politics and enjoyed the movie for what it was.

I picked up on that too. The topic is very current. but yea Ignored that BS and watched a great ass movie. The general dude was bad-ass. He was my favorite character besides the other buff bald head soldier.

Movie = Weaksauce. Sure the special effects are cool, but the story is the same old Hollywood rehash. Spoiler Alert, here's the plot summary...
Military guy suffers traumatic injury and realizes he wants something more out of life He gets stationed on the frontier He makes contact with the indigenous people He lives among the indigenous people and learns their ways He realizes the link between everything in nature He eventually becomes accepted by them as one of their own He tames the un-tamable animal He has a relationship with one of the indigenous women he's not supposed to He has a conflict with the most respected warrior in the group He ends up fighting his own people along side the indigenous people...
Is this a unique story? Oh no... It has been done much better...
