well there definitely have been people getting it, I've even had a friend or two that's gotten it. but I think the media tends to hype it up a bit. I don't think the danger is great enough for anyone to run out and get an H1N1 shot like people have been.

I wouldn't say it's all complete hype. H1N1 was a new strain we have not seen before and recently H5N1 (bird flu) turned out to be a pandemic that spread to 3 different continents. To make the unknown factor worse, all we knew was that H1N1 could potentially be deadly. The unknowns and past history made for a breaking story for something that could have been big but didn't.

I do think it is some what hype. I am not buying into the vaccination either. Just dont go around snottin on folks and wash your hands and you should be cool. I do think it is some man made shizzle though. I had a friend that caught it and it does shut you down. He was tore up.

There's two types of this flu, the deadly one and the regular one, the deadly one is rare.
Its just another scare tactic, like said before more people have died from the regular flu than this one since it came out. Next year it'll be the cow flu.
