A friend of mine gave me a case of Sierra Nevada seasonal brew thats been sitting in his garage for 2 years. He didn't like the taste and just let it set next to his fidge. It says 2007 on the label. Whats your guess? Is it good to go? Or am I playing with possibly getting some reading time on the "throne"? ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

I think beer does go bad...I have some bottles that have been sitting for a few months and the yeast or whatever else is in it solidifies and starts floating in the bottle. I know its beer, but I'd rather buy another case then get sick ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Beer goes bad and taste like shit/flat. I wouldn't waste my time and just buy a new one. But you got nothing to lose other than to prove to yourself how beer does go bad, try it and let us know.

It can go bad, and eventually turn into malt vinegar. Goes good on top of some red snapper.

My guess is that it will not be very good.. but may still be drinkable. Pop one and give it a try.. if it tastes like shit then dump the 12 pack.

Dont drink that shit unless you are homeless! Why do you think every beer maker works extremely hard to deliver a beer for sale within 24hrs? Because it tastes like garbage after more than a month.... just drop 25 bucks on a new case.

if it was kept in a cool dark place you should be alright, might have a stronger aftertaste but should be ok
