so this monday i was t-boned by a 2004 toyota. luckly i am totally okay but i had a feeling my mustang was going to be a total loss. and as of yesterday it is a confirmed total loss. i am pretty bumbed as i have never been in a major accident and it feels wose since it is not my fault.
i will be cashed out my by insurance company for my stang.
i really want to buy a new/used stang with the money i will get but with house prices the way they are i think i will spend the money and buy a house which i am already tring to do.
so i probably will be stangless for a bit but mark my words i will be back with a new stang ...eventually. [ August 28, 2009, 07:58 PM: Message edited by: Insurance Dude ]

Glad you're ok...that sucks to hear. If you want another stang soon, mine is always for sale but I hear you with the house. I sold my Saleen to have extra money in the bank to buy my house...once our loans and all were approved, I used some of the money and bought my cobra...using that money for bigger and more important things is the way to go

+1 try to get a house it's a good time to buy.... Just don't keep the cycle going by getting a refi to buy toys

Owning a home is much more expensive then renting, don't feel that because the economy is slow that you must buy a house now. Also don't borrow money on a car unless you have got more then enough $$ to handle it. Don't get caught living beyond your means, be patient and save intelligently.
