Someone is going to get a good QB at a steal if they sign him.

I would not call Vick a "good" QB. He can make some things happen but he is not a good pocket passer. I wonder what he has left being out of the league for 2 years.. Maybe S.F. should take a look at him...

He'll make a GREAT 3rd string QB Maybe he should just become a punt returner...

Man if you do not think he is a good qb your tripping. Sometimes it is the intangibles that make you good as well. Not the obvious.

I actually aggree with the whole niner thing. Seems would be a good fit there; since all they have is XFL worthy QB's anyways.

Vick is a good qb, His only problem is accuracy but his arm strength is up there with the best in the nfl. before you say he's not a good qb look at his winning percentage the years he played, and look what happened to atlanta the year he left

Vick is fun to watch, will pack the stands, but he is a perfect example of one of those guys that will never win a championship.

I heard the niners already said they do NOT want him. But you never know. He will be a steal no matter what team he goes to.

LOL yeah the raiders should pick him up I'd love to watch patrick wills break him in half this year....
But really I feel he should not come back... The NFL should make an example out or him... If you fight dogs and think it's " not a big deal" then I think your a jackass.

Both the NFL and the justice system did make an example out of him. He did his time and paid his debt to society. Unlike so many others before him. I say let the man do what he is good at. I heard he was in phenomenal shape too. Goodell is not fool tho. He know everyone and their momma will tune in to the Vick show to see how he plays. Good ratings.

From the sounds of it, doesn't look like he'll be playing in the NFL this year. Teams aren't willing to take the risk. His best bet now is to go into the Canadian league. He can become an instant starter there, kill it, then comeback to the NFL next season. [ July 24, 2009, 04:07 PM: Message edited by: Rigo5.0 ]

I know 100% he isn't gonna start but they'll put him as 2nd or 3rd string. Might even convert him to reciver. He's just to good not to play football. And they said they might not add the 4 game suspension since it would be a double suspension, cuz he is suspended indefinitely already. Im pretty sure his agent will find him a good home team.

There are enough bad teams without formidable QBs, that Vick will get picked up imho.
He is only 29, so he has a good 5-6 years left in him which is plenty to make team's willing to take a shot on.
I guess its a question of how long this suspension will be.
Its hard to expect that any team will be confident about picking him up when the suspension details have not been provided. Seems outrageous to me. [ July 24, 2009, 04:31 PM: Message edited by: Luke87GT ]

What's so wrong? Oakland is a city with a high crime rate and historically the Raiders have been willing to take chances on problematic players that nobody else would consider. That philosophy has worked out well for them in general (minus Moss ).

The man lost two years of his life and around 100 million dollars he's paid his debt he should get a second chance the niners said no they wouldn't sign him but with frank gore and vernon davis and now micheal crabtree i think he could fit in and win some games for them, thats if he still has it in him.

Vick wasn't sorry, he took a mediocre team and took them to the one game away from the superbowl. you can't see he didn't win games and was exciting to watch. There aernt 32 quarterbacks in the league better than vick.
