COBRA Why would you want a 2v 4.6 when you can get a 4v with a lot more potential AND a better looking body style
On the other hand, you shouldn't disregard the 94-95 cobras either. They have more potential for mods and look as good as the 96-98's

I've had both.....a couple of times....the cobra is way more fun stock for stock but the parts to make the GT are quite a bit cheaper. But nothing more fun than 7k pulls!

4v > 2v
sitting inside the car it's hard to tell the difference, interior is the same besides the seats, I like the older seats more than the newer seats personally, the new ones feel like they're made for fat people and have no side bolsters at all.

Go with the SVT! That way you get a Certificate to hang on the wall, you get to brag about your limited production vehicle, and its handmade engine is visually Awesome under the hood compared to a 4.6 2V.

The 96-98 Cobra is an awesome car with a great motor IMHO.
I am surprised at how low the prices have come down on these cars and think its a great opportunity to take advantage.

The 4 valve. The look of the motor alone is worth it. People do this when I say it's a 281 (who don't know mustangs).

i had a 00 gt which was lots of fun and parts are cheaper then the cobra, and also drove a 97 cobra and really its all about the motor since u could pull up to 7k on the cobra. So i would say ether a cobra with atleast 4.30's or a gt with a 100 shot.
