As mentioned above, two points and a heavy fine most likely.
What were you doing?
12 years ago when I first got my liscence, I got hit with an exhibition of speed. 2 points + ~$380 fine, and that was in 1997. I'm sure its gone up since then. [ June 24, 2009, 10:05 AM: Message edited by: Luke87GT ]

Been there done that, I also have a wreckless. You might get a cool ass judge like I did, I got 109+ and a speed contest. I had to take a couple classes didn't have to pay any fines and got it dropped to a wreckless. No lawyer they made me get a public pretender tho. It took my almost a year of going to court and classes to get it to a wreckless. Good luck [ June 24, 2009, 11:35 AM: Message edited by: Greasy ]

I got a speed contest ticket a few years ago. The cop handcuffed me and I go to hang out in the back of his car for 20 min while the other guy just stood by his car. I'm sure if it happened in the last few years I would have lost my car for 30 days, gone to jail and been charged with attempted murder...... You can't screw around like that anymore without getting in big trouble. They charged me with a misdemeanor and wanted to throw 3 points on my license, if I wanted to go to court it was a trial jury. I argued it down to an "unsafe start" charge and one point with a few hundred dollar fine. Just argue when you go to court, they will try to scare you with a jury trial just tell him fine. He told me I would need to pay for a lawyer, I said you guys can give me one, he asked if I made more than $1200 a month, I said yes, he said I don't qualify for a court appointed lawyer because I make too much, I told him I'll quit my job and then they have to give me one, he said you can't do that, I told him if those points go on my record I'll loose my job anyway so it won't matter. Needless to say, he backed down and gave me the one point.

Ouch, booked for cvc 23103... I have never heard of anyone getting booked for that. I dont even think our jail would take that. Usually just a nice misdemeanor ticket and a your vehicle visiting the tow yard for 30 days.

I got caught speeding 115+mph. I ended up getting 30 day suspension, 2 points, $475 fine, and fucked up insurance for 3 years. Get a laywer if you can. It may cost more now, but think about the extra insurance cost too. Good luck.

I received the the same ticket 5 years ago. They're going to be rough on you. You will have to be represented by an attorney. I hired a private attorney and got off with a 1 point moving violation and a fine of about $500. But I also had to pay the lawyer $1000. Either way you go, you will pay some heavy wallet! Good luck guy.
