Hey I am wondering if it's possible to have wheels widened and if they are any stronger/ weaker? Im also wondering on the price? Reason is I want to have an old classic wheel widened to like 11" for a future project....

A lot of people have had it done and hadn't had any problems with balance or safety issues. Just don't go to Cletus Bob in Rio Linda and let him "weld em up" in his garage

+1 i had weldcraft widen my wheels and narrow some wheels for me. Great workmanship and seem like cool people. Cost me $550.00 to widen 2 wheels from 18/9 to 18/12,also the cost of shipping they're in detroit.
