I make my own too:
Leanest meat available seasoned with lemon black pepper, salt Chopped fresh jalapeños a bit of chopped onions & garlic shredded mild cheddar
mixed everything together & pour a carta blanca on top (beer) to taste, let a sit in the fridge for a minimum of 4hrs. Bets burgers you will ever try
I usually add a pepper jack slice of cheese melted over grilled chopped serrano pepper. [ April 20, 2009, 02:04 AM: Message edited by: xvt's 85 5.0 ]

There was a place in Modesto called Smokeys. Had THEE best burger I have ever tasted. Hella seasoned (hard to find places that season burgers), juicy and huge. I think it went out of biz though, everytime I go there it seems to be closed. If someone from Modesto knows if they moved or something let me know. It used to be on McHenry....APB for a burger joint if you will.
