Does anyone know if you heat up a leather shift boot with a hair dryer if it will shrink the leather. The hole where the knob goes is a little big and I think I heard that you can shrink the leather if youo get it really hot. Not sure though.

Just heating the leather up will not make it shrink. It has to be wet, if you use a leather soap with warm water. It should shrink a little but not as much as your hoping for.
