I'm just trying to get an idea from some of you guys that have recently paid for tuning services. Please indicate whether or not a chip and/or handheld tuner was bought? I already have a chip for one car, and a handheld tuner for my other car. If you don't feel comfortable posting in the thread, then please shoot me a PM. Thanks.

On an average you can expect to pay $500ish for a dyno tune with a custom chip. [ January 29, 2009, 05:47 AM: Message edited by: HaulinAss Motorsports ]

You get what you pay for. If you want to do it over and over, go cheap...mail order tunes are best for this. Companies that give you "unlimited" re-tunes do this for a reason.
Flat-rate tuners are best. Expect to pay $400-$550 for services (depending on the setup and equipment used).
