honestly, i've wondered this exact same thing before, seriously now, what do you guys think then with regard to suspension and hp?
i always wonder this whenever i cross a certain intersection before getting onto 24 from san pablo ave. the street you cross is hella convex shaped, like a two foot tall midget would have a hard time seein his other two foot tall friend on the other side, and i always get stopped at the light. so, you would launch at the light and i can just imagine using the hip of the intersection to lift the front end up and sort of manual over the hip. haha hope that makes sense. im sure it's not effecive for an efficient quarter mile time but it definitely seems badass!

Take a 2950-lbs coupe, 4.10-4.30 gear, full drag suspension, slicks, and a 6250RPM launch, and ~260rwhp should do it.
A guy buy the name of Ed Hohenberg was pulling them 8 inches off the ground in an 87 coupe with 4.56 gear and 230rwhp.

It's all about the weight of the car. You can dramatically drop the weight of any mustang. The trick is all in the blinker fluids. Just don't add so much before you hit the track. lmao

I lifted my wheels in a stock 04 GT, 3360 lbs., with drag radials and suspension including coil overs. Which is much harder to do then with a car with regular springs because of travel coil over give you. Very impressive with a car that runs low 13's lifting the tires.
