damn ! thanks for bringing me back some memories !! funny how in the movie he said their daytons - but they are actually McClean's (sp) ..... but my 2 cents are 18's the biggest - just looks like they belong on foxbody's - for anything newer i would go with 20's

79-93=17's look best IMO, but 18's still look good...15's & 16's can look good if they are stock, or drag wheels...
94-04=18's look best, but 17's look good as well as long as the tire size & sidweall is correct. 19's can look OK, but have to be 3 piece forged wheels. 20's look too big IMO...
05-09=20's look best, but 18's & 19's look good too. 17's look too small IMO....

Interesting to see all of the diffrent choices!! You all have a good point for your choice. But marv with the 13 wire wheels & the Boys in the Hood Pic is way too much!! That was hella funny!! If you want to go fast you have to stay Under 18" but for style points 20" or 22" Look real nice!!

My motto is "24 for sho". But a good set of 32"s on any mustang looks good with a 42" plasma in the rear and spinners looks pretty hot. I can't wait til they come out with bigger wheels....like 38"s or something. I guess we'll all have to be patient

my 07 is on 20s but i think id do the 22s out back and keep the 20s up from. 20s minimum on the s197, anything else looks too small
but on all other body styles 18s max

Love those BBS wheels.. especially on 03 Cobra's
I like 17x9's on a Fox. They fit good and give you lots of options for tire sizes.
17x8's will limit what tire size you can run.
