Anyone know of a decent shooting range that allows rifles (7.52x54r caliber to be exact) in or around Chico?

I just know of Safer Arms indoor off the Skyway and the Chico Rod & Gun Club at Upper Park but thats indoors as well. Paradise is only a 15 minute drive up the skyway.

That place in Paradise wants $175 for membership. Jeeze...Looks like I'll pick up a few more rifles first so I can have a whole day of shooting.
Safer Arms is where I'll be heading for now though I suppose. Thanks for the input guys, appreciate it.

Yikes! I'll show you a couple open lots off Honey Run, no membership required, just run when you hear sirens

Isn't there somewhere out by Beale AFB? It's BLM land, alot of people go there to shoot. It's free and always open.

Spenceville(SP) a lot of cops and military out there. There is no range master and there is a 25yd, 35yd, 50yd, 100yd, and 300yd I think. It has been a while since I have been out there, but it is cool; just do not be an idiot out there.
