Hey guys,
Anybody from chico, quite a few of us are heading down this Friday from redding to check out whats on the streets down there. Maybe meet some new people and or see some people we have not seen in a while.

We will be out friday night for sure.
I know 4 cars right now coming, 3 stangs.

HOw are the Cops down there. We are getting hit hard for smog stuff. Chp received a grant to come out on friday and saturday nights to do random stops just for smog issues.
In which has stopped everything up here.

too bad i'm not in chico anymore, i want to play ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
dunno about now, but a couple years ago, the cops couldn't care less about us. you get pulled over, and as long as you aren't an asshole or endangering anybody, they let you go. just watch your burnouts along Esplanade. they kinda frown on those! but the local Dairy Queen and Big Al's are the spots, along with a gas station back parking lot on East.

We can't even drive are cars anywhere, pull us over for haveing a tach or cowl hood.
My wife got popped in her 350z for modified exhaust, just had a cat back on it.

are they making up for being lax for kool April nights? we were up there driving like idiots along with everyone else and nobody had any problems! that was about 6 years ago though, things might be different. but chico is def. more easy-going.
side note - i once raced a bike coming back from redding to chico down that "highway" that runs from red bluff to chico. now taht was a lot of fun, basically road racing for over 20 minutes flying down that road early on a sunday. good times when i was young and stupid ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

ahh yeah, they're a whole diff story! got pulled by one of them down in Palmdale, no talk, no nothing, just license and reg.

haha no they sure don't! one of my drives back up to Chico from the Bay it started to rain a bit in the middle of I-5 around Arbuckle or some shit-hole place, and after about 10 minutes of trying to aim my car down the road i finally pulled over and smoked some cigarettes under an awning while i waited for it to pass! the normally two and a half hour drive took me like 4 hours!!

Well the weather cleared and we all made it down there with no issues. had a good time even though no one wanted to race the only race we could get was for are buddy in his Trans Am with a 1000cc GSX the TA lost by a bike length
