I know a lot of people on the board and in the area put a lot of time into their cars for pinks. I hope everyone stays safe and has a great time! If anyone has some news please let us know for those who can't make it.

my car was popping like crazy the last runs I re ran my valves last night and found a couple off one was stuck so I'm going balls out I think both bottles will be opened if the motor hits good I'm hitting the button

My car hasn't run good all weekend it might be the fuel pump died who knows fuel pressure went down poor car good thing I never sprayed

I am not sure what he ran but he had the best wheelie of the event on sat. ![[worship]](graemlins/worship.gif) It was sweet. I saw a few of the CA ford cars. Shaun at AED's cobra was prety close to making the show unless they tosed him for the 138 mph ![[Eek!]](eek.gif) The Fords did not have a very impresive event. there where some nice pases from them but no quick 8 or no final 16. ![[Confused]](confused.gif)

Didn't get any footage, but we were down talking with the Folsom Flash crew later. The timer never started for the pass due to a mechanical issue from that super long burnout. But that pass is the unofficial fastest pass ever for Pro Mod. His data log had him in the throttle for 6.019 seconds for that pass.
To make it even more exciting for them, they had a chute not deploy at the end of the track as well which caused them to use up every foot of the track to get stopped! ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)

yea growing up ive watched this car closely... its always been my favorite drag car. too bad he broke a clutch finger. Also how fitting is it that the car that started the "Pro Mod" movement hold the record

Sorry I didn't post earlier but I forgot how many message boards I belong to..... I did datalog the pass and it was somewhere around 9.7ish....
I have the video from saturday's armdrop pass on youtube and here...
It was a pretty gnarly pass.... I was just surprised I stayed in it.... I expected that if it ever happened i'd let off but that's probably the worst thing you could do. I shifted about 400RPM's early and it came down relatively soft....
appreciate the compliments... I just hope I made it on the show. get my 5 seconds of fame...
