Do repo'd cars effect the title? I had an auction company try to sell me some repo cars and I'm wondering if this would make it a bad title car. Or if the title is still clear. I see on carfax and autocheck that they have check boxes for repo cars too. Anyone know about this stuff?

The only thing that would hurt the value is if it was salvaged or a lemon. Carfax should tell you if the car has been in an accident but not totaled. I was going to buy a Mystic a couple years ago but found out through Carfax it had front end damage with a frame repair though it hadn't been totaled.

oh ok. I see check boxes for repossessed cars so I was wondering if it hurt them on carfax value and if the title will be labeled as a repo from dmv.
