When I bought her sat like this. 50k miles.
UPS dropped off some goods soon after! H&R Super Sports & Energy Suspension isolators.
Red & blue go pretty good together!
Here she is. They'll probably settle in more after I drive her around for a bit. Also the tires are still the tiny 245/45/17's on the 17x9's. Might be trying on the Deep Dish Bullitts soon to fill up the gaps more!

That car looks super clean Nick & the stance is nice. u better keep it, its unmolested & u have never had a modular....
If u want it to lower more, remove the front isos & it will sit perfect.... [ July 21, 2008, 01:06 AM: Message edited by: EPIK ]

Thanks folks! Here's a shot with the E30 we just picked up for my nephew Dustin's 1st car. Was trying to convince him into a Mustang, but my sister said the insurance would be too high! Pretty impressive little car I must say!

We picked it up for $3500. Those BBS wheels I doubt he'll ever get rid of. Pain in the ass to clean them wheels too! Shit is hella dumped. We gonna change the rear spings soon. Freakin rails, but bouncy as hell!

I'm liking both those cars Nick...good shit! The coabra looks good, but I think you'll set it off with those deep dish bullitts
Also, gotta love Bimmers. They arent the fastest cars, but they handle like no other. My old 92 318is was slow as shit, but ripped it through the canyons Makes me want to look for another BMW

You are so right, I had a 97 318i and it was slow, but handled like a dream, wish they put that suspension on the stangs.

looks good nick...i would go a tad bit lower in the front though. hopefully after settling it'll drop more. you can always go with 1 less isolator.

That car is absolutely gorgeous, but I'd dump it another 0.5" all around.
The first pic, I've never seen anything like that before. You could probably put a watermelon between the fender and front tire.

Ya the tires don't help.
I never use Poly isolators because they can raise a car 1/4" or more compared to worn stock rubber isolators.
Car looks great though!

ack stock shocks, I rode my `97 around with the stockers and H&R's for a few months, it was absolutely horrible, haha.
I recently put tokiko blue's all around on it, and it's better but still not as nice a ride as my 89 with bilsteins, so I'd suggest going with those.
the tokiko's are gas charged, seems to have a higher rebound rate than the bilsteins so it's still a bit bouncy in the rear.
