I want to get your guys' opinions on which wheels to get. Finally, I found 2 guys that want to trade Saleens for my FR500's, but I'm stuck trying to decide if I want chrome or hyperblack.
I'm sure a lot of you have seen this pic already, but here's how it currently looks with FR500's...
Here's a pic of a Cobra with Hyperblack Saleens...

Hyperblack for sure. Chrome is too common. You drive a unique car, give it unique wheels.

Hyperblack would look good with the silver Saleen stripes. Plus I think Hyperblacks look good on black cars.

I second the hyperblack. Go with unique, the hyperblack is more subtle than the chrome but gives it a one of a kind look. Either way you win tho. Both finished are bad ass. Good luck ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

Definitely not BLACK..that looks doesn't really cut it for me.
I do agree with all of you guys about the Hyperblack. At some angles it looks polished, some angles look gunmetal, and some angles look silver. Kind of weird but I like it I think I'm going to go this route ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

I agree. Silver or Hyperblack would look the best. Chrome 99+ rims look awkward on 94-98 Saleens for some reason. If you wanted chrome, I'd look for a set of chrome Speedlines, but that's $$$.
I was actually planning on painting mine silver too.

And hyperblack looks the best in person when they are freshly cleaned. No other color like it.

I got these Hyperblacks with 275/40 & 315/35's mounted on em. Sittin at my cousin's. Pending for my boy, but maybe he'll let me keep em if I try em out on my SN95 & they look good! [ June 25, 2008, 02:06 AM: Message edited by: STREETFIGHTER50 ]

Changing the color of a wheel, to me doesnt make them "unique" If you want a unique wheel get a "unique" wheel, stern, fikse, bbs, etc. If I painted my stocks pink would you color guys be jockin?

Yea, I know my final decision will be what I WANT...but I wanted everyone's opinions because maybe they'd show me examples that may change my mind. I was leaning towards the hyperblack since I never really liked chrome wheels, but if I saw a badass example, my mind could change.
thanks for all the input guys and yes, i have made my mind that the hyperblack saleens will look best on my car ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

when it come to rims on a Cobra or Saleen, Dave has put just about every wheel there is on one....listen to his advice on this...

Well here's a couple of photoshopped pics of my car with the hyperblack saleens and the chrome saleens. They dont look too different but the hyperblack ones look way more aggressive and flow a lot better with the car.
